People, Portraiture, and Culture

Bio

After three decades telling stories for global corporations, Paul Killebrew turned his attention to a different kind of narrative. An international photographer with a background in documentary filmmaking, he is embracing the challenge of telling a story within a single frame. He invites viewers to make their own interpretations of his work without the cues of music, motion or narrative.

His current project, Economies Without Scale, documents micro-entrepreneurs across the Philippines, Togo, and Ecuador, questioning conventional definitions of economic success through stories of independence, ambition, and opportunity.

Killebrew is completing his Masters Degree in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at the University of the Arts London. Since picking up the still camera in 2024, his photography has received international recognition through exhibitions, awards, and publications.
